Built for the stiffest brake in motorsport: a short, firm pneumatic stroke for single-seaters, floor-mounted or hanging from above. Travel regulator included, 15–45 mm.
Single-seaters brake on a pedal that barely moves and pushes back hard. The Formula-R is built for exactly that: monocoque geometry, the R-Piston V5 pneumatic brake and the Brake Travel Regulator V5 fitted as standard, from a short, firm 15 mm stroke up to 45 mm when you want more modulation. Machined, assembled and calibrated by hand in Barcelona, with the parts you choose.
The R-Piston builds pressure progressively and firmly, with the strong bite of a formula car brake. No elastomers, no springs, nothing that softens over time.
The pressure sensor reads the first millimetres cleanly, so left-foot braking and fast throttle-to-brake transitions stay consistent lap after lap.
Floor-mounted like a classic F1 car or hanging from above, in three pedal angle positions. Geometry and stroke adjust mechanically, in seconds.

Used for daily training by professional drivers, including Pedro de la Rosa (Formula 1 driver).
Four ways to build a sim racing brake. Pick one, press and hold, and watch what the pedal does and what the game receives. Set the Formula-R's travel regulator between 15 and 45 mm and feel how the curve changes.
SRP® R-PistonFormula-R reference
Simplified model to compare how each design behaves. Not SRP lab measurements.
We machine, anodize, assemble and calibrate every Formula-R in our own workshop. Each part is there because it makes the brake more precise, more consistent or longer lasting.
Machined from solid billet. A rigid platform means the force you apply is the force the sim receives.
Industrial-grade finish, specified to resist years of heavy braking.
On every pivot, for a zero-play response from the first millimetre.
Ceramic pressure transducers over USB-C with ultra-low latency.
Aluminium cylinder with an aerospace stainless steel core and industrial NBR seals.
Compact and stiff, designed for the low, reclined driving position of a single-seater.
Anodized pedal plates in eight colours, chosen when you configure your set.
We build your set with the parts you configure, calibrate it, and email you a personal set-up summary when it ships.

Set how hard the brake pushes back to match the car you drive, or simply your leg.
The change is mechanical, so it is instant and repeatable. Fine-tune the response further in MySETUP.
The Brake Travel Regulator V5, fitted as standard, sets the brake travel between 15 and 45 mm: ultra-short for F1 stiffness, longer for the progressive feel of a prototype. Choose the pedal angle position A, B or C when you configure your set.
A hard, short pedal where pressure, not travel, does the work. Ideal for left-foot braking at the limit.
A little more stroke to modulate trail braking into slow corners.
The most progressive setting, easier to control while you build muscle memory.
100% 5-axis CNC AL6061 with 28 µm hard anodizing, in gray or black to match your chassis. It keeps the setting rock-solid through long sessions.
Floor-mounted 2-pedal set, or hanging from above like a real car. Same pedals, same feel.
Assembly guides, technical drawings and calibration, plus more than 1,500 sim racers sharing setups on our Discord.
Free for every Formula-R owner. Shape the brake curve, save a profile for each car and see your inputs live.
Pneumatic algorithms developed with professional sim racers for 1:1 pressure realism.
Shape deadzones and linearity to your own technique and reduce lock-ups.
Switch instantly between GT3, formula and rally setups.
Map brake pressure changes to your wheel buttons and fine-tune mid-race.

Both use the same R-Piston V5 brake and the Brake Travel Regulator V5. The difference is the geometry each discipline asks for.

A rigid cockpit is required. A pneumatic brake works at real-car pedal forces. On a stand that flexes, the flex absorbs part of the stroke and you lose consistency. Not recommended for flex-prone wheel stands, floor mounting without reinforcement, or cockpits without a solid seat-to-pedal connection.

Both use the R-Piston V5 pneumatic brake and come with the Brake Travel Regulator V5. The Formula-R has a compact monocoque geometry built for single-seaters: a stiff, short-travel brake in a 2-pedal set, classic or inverted. The GT-R is our multi-discipline set for GT, rally and endurance, with an optional clutch.
The Brake Travel Regulator V5, fitted as standard, sets the stroke between 15 and 45 mm. 15 mm gives a direct, aggressive formula-style brake; 45 mm gives smooth modulation for long stints.
A load cell reads force through compressed rubber, which responds mostly linearly and changes with heat and wear. The R-Piston compresses air, giving a progressive pressure curve with no thermal fade and no maintenance.
Yes. It works floor-mounted like a classic F1 car or hanging from above. You also choose pedal angle position A, B or C when you configure it.
It mounts on 80/20 profile rigs, major cockpit brands, custom frames and perforated pedal plates. A rigid cockpit is required. Send a photo of your setup to info@simracing-pro.com for a free check.
It is native on PC via USB-C. On PlayStation and Xbox it works through the DriveHub adapter, sold separately by third parties.
No. The R-Piston uses an aerospace stainless steel core with industrial NBR seals and is rated for 3.5 million kilometres without performance loss.

Fantastic product, quality is visible everywhere and I have improved my lap time… Pneumatic is the best technology for the purpose of racing pedals…
Todo el proceso de compra muy bueno. El empaque sin problemas y el proceso de instalacion y configuracion detallado y completo. Se nota preocupación hasta el último detalle.
