In 2018, David Roca Gruart — a young engineer and sim racing enthusiast from Blanes, Girona — hit the same wall every serious sim racer knows: springs felt artificial, hydraulics leaked, and load cells measured force without reproducing feel.
Working late nights in a small workshop, he developed something the industry had not tried: a pedal system that measures air pressure in a sealed cylinder instead of mechanical resistance. The result was a brake pedal with a progressive, organic response — and no parts that wear out.
The first batch of 50 GT-R pedal sets sold out within weeks. Word spread through the sim racing community: something different was happening in Spain.

The complete story of SRP®, told by its founder — from the first prototype to becoming the reference in pneumatic simulation.

Every SRP® pedal set is machined from solid blocks of aerospace-grade AL6061 aluminum on 5-axis CNC machines. No plastic. No shortcuts. Metal, precision and process control.
Our workshop in Blanes combines traditional craftsmanship with current technology. Each component is inspected by hand. Each pedal is tested individually. Each unit carries the standard of Spanish engineering.
We introduced pneumatic simulation when the rest of the market was iterating on springs and elastomers. Every product generation pushes the same boundary further.
SKF needle bearings, ceramic diaphragm transducers, industrial NBR seals rated for 3.5 million kilometers. If a component doesn't meet the standard, it doesn't go in.
David Roca Gruart founds SIM RACING PRO 2018 S.L. in Blanes, Girona. The first 50 GT-R pedal sets sell out within weeks.
Reviews from leading sim racing channels praise the pneumatic system. International shipping begins.
Launch of the GT-S (compact), Formula-R (single-seater) and SRP® Handbrake. MySETUP matures into a reference calibration suite.
SRP® becomes the pneumatic standard — used by professional drivers, simulation centers and esports teams in more than 40 countries.
Every SRP® product carries the fingerprints of people who race themselves.

Founder & lead engineer. Still answers customer emails personally, still tests every prototype himself, still races.

CNC operators, assembly specialists and quality control — the hands that turn aluminum blocks into racing instruments.

WhatsApp, Discord and email — the people who make sure every customer gets the most out of their SRP® hardware.
Every pedal that leaves our workshop carries a commitment, not just a serial number.
